Kevin Hutchinson, creator of the iConnect iLearn Ning site, came up with an amazing idea to make a web 2.0 key chain. He took a bunch of great sites and added them to “keys”, laminated them, then put them all on a key ring. It is such a great way to have your top sites right in front of you. I recently signed-up with Conduit and created a nifty toolbar that anyone can install. My students are my target audience for this one and I was quickly able to customize it to fit their needs.
Each toolbar has a bunch of options that you can add, however because mine is for my students I tried to make it as simple as possible. Here is the result:

Box.net is a site that I learned about last year when my husband bought a netbook and was given a free subscription. Upon looking at the site and all it had to offer I quickly realized what a powerful tool it is.

One of the handiest programs I’ve used in a long time happens to be one of the programs I’ve had for a long time: Microsoft’s OneNote.
