Agree about the technology at our school...i still have 5 non-working computers and alpha smarts that are gathering dust after sitting there for 10 years....been told i need to write down seriall numbers and put in a request for removal.... love your site..so much work! I think I will go with the feeling of disappointment that there are just too many places that don't get it. Let's just hope that "we" can turn things around. We cannot have our own software, it must all be held by the school tech and loaded from "oz," as I call it. I can no longer buy Apple products, even with my own grant money, as the district has contracts with HP and Microsoft. All computers will be laptops, and student computers will be HP notebooks. This all makes for teaching with technology harder than it should be.
